Jameel Prize 3 at the V&A

The Jameel Prize is an international award for contemporary art and design inspired by Islamic tradition. Its aim is to explore the relationship between Islamic traditions of art, craft and design and contemporary work as part of a wider debate about Islamic culture and its role today.

Location: The Porter Gallery

Admission Free

The Jameel Prize 3 exhibition includes a film of flashing images. It is installed at the entrance to the Porter Gallery.

Exhibition opening times

Daily 10.00–17.30
Friday 10.00–21.30
Exhibition closes 15 minutes prior to the Museum closing

Closed 24 – 26 December 2013
Closed until 12.00 on 7 January 2014

London Underground

The Museum is a 5-minute walk from South Kensington London Underground station (Piccadilly, Circle and District Lines) and a 10-minute walk from Knightsbridge London Underground station (Piccadilly Line).

Buses

C1, 14, 74 and 414 buses stop outside the Cromwell Road entrance.
The Open Tour stop outside the Museum as part of their Double Decker Bus sightseeing tour of London.
